Sunchokes



We had the pleasure of eating sunchokes for the first time tonight. Pretty easy to prepare, they just need to be peeled then boiled till tender(about 15 min). We decided to gratin them after that, with a bit of pepper, salt and parmesean. Then out of the oven and they were excellent. They were slightly sweet and very moist similar to a potato but better than potato. If we see these around we'd definitely get them again.
